Presentation:    Intelligent Service Delivery through a Web Based Environmental Health Knowledge System

Robert Halford graduated as an Environmental Health Practitioner in 1984 and majored in Environmental Protection being involved in several major infrastructure projects in the UK's capital city London. Robert has worked in all areas of UK Environmental Health including Food Safety, Infectious Diseases, Sanitation, Housing, Environmental Protection, Pest Control and Health & Safety. Entering the private sector in 1997 Robert worked as an expert advisor for several major UK consultancies. His varied experience and extensive network across the profession and in government, led to his company RHE, becoming an incubator for new ideas for online applications to support front line Environmental Health staff and managers. Because of the innovations behind them, they are fast becoming the standard tools in the UK and Australia.

Sean La Fontaine has 16 years’ experience at a senior management level for Kernow. He is an extremely competent Environmental and Public Health practitioner and is a key driver of policy and procedural development. Sean's extensive understanding of a wide range of public health legislation including immunization, food and water management is a key strength of the business. His knowledge and experience in Environmental Health is often called upon by other Local Government authorities to provide advice and direction on operation improvements that can be made to their business. Sean also is a major contributor to Kernow's strategy development and new business projects.
